Welcome to the Tula website. In our capacity as controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, we are obliged to comply with statutory provisions on data protection. As a matter of course, we greatly value the protection of your personal data along with fair and transparent data processing. What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

When visitors to our site enter their email address, we collect the data submitted and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: Email addresses do not appear publicly. When you complete our dosha test, your identity is anonymous. The answers are collected and stored. How long we retain your data

If you are a subscriber to the Tula newsletter, we hold your email address (and name, if you added your name in the subscription process) so that we can send you monthly newsletters giving you a round-up of our published articles. Occasionally we may send you a newsletter about something we think you might like to be aware of, such as local events, in addition to our monthly roundups. You can unsubscribe from this list or update your subscription preferences at any time using this unsubscribe link or the link at the bottom of our newsletters. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you are subscribed to our newsletter, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data?

Users subscribing to our newsletter will have their email address (and name if supplied in the subscription process) stored in our mailing list database which is hosted by Mailchimp. Mailchimp is an email newsletter provider and does not have rights to use any data stored within the Tula mailing list for marketing purposes.
